9. Application of color in analogous and complementary harmony to decorative nature study. 10. Simple poster alphabet studied and expressed. 1 1. Application of lettering to school problems; posters, composition covers and alphabet book. 12. Development of conventional units from study of nature forms, in paper cutting. 1 3. Imaginative units developed suggested by nature forms. An effort made to create new forms in leaves, flowers and birds. 1 4. Employment of various units in different spaces adapted to school problems, in box tops, portfolios, cover designs, etc. 15. Making a problem in construction suited to grade, decorated with conventional design, in card board, or textile, to be decorated with design. In stencil, or cross stitch, using original design. 1 6. A course in Picture Study will be discussed and planned during the course. 1 7. Making a Picture Study Booklet. 1 8. Blackboard demonstration will accompany presentation of every lesson, and practice on the board will be afforded students to facilitate their ability to present lessons to children. 19. An effort will be made to make the course a practical one to the teacher, at the same time affording the student the opportunity to do constructive work. 20. An opportunity for free discussion and questions on all points will be encouraged. It has been found impossible to run the Evening Classes as planned for the present year; consequently, the Illustration and Mens' Life Classes will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning and afternoon respectively.
