| KARL WITH, Ph. D. LECTURER Born in Bremerhaven, Germany, February, 1891. Educated at University of Berlin, Freiburg, and Vienna (Ph.D., Vienna, 1918, summa cum laude). Director of Museums in Hagen, Amsterdam and Cologne, art editor, art critic (1919-1933). Director of over 150 exhibitions in major European countries. Lecturer, Graduate School of Design, Pasadena, 1940-41. Professor of Art and Head of Department, Hamilton College 1941-48. Professor of History of Art, University of Calif., Los Angeles, since 1948. Author of 21 books dealing with Contemporary- Art, Oriental Art, Primitive Art, etc. WILLIAM WOLFSON COMMERCIAL ART Educated at the Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, the National Academy of Design, New York, and the Art Students League, N. Y. Taught Carnegie Institute of Technology, Hollywood Art Center School. Exhibited extensively. Illustrations in principal national publications. Lithos and woodcuts selected and exhibited annually by ' Fifty Best Prints of the Year" for three years. Work in illustration and advertising art covers 25 years experience. 25 |
