Day class hours: Mornings, 9 to 12; afternoons, 1 to 4. Sketch classes and talks, 4 to 5 P. M. Evening classes: Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 7:30 to 9:30 P. M. Tuition rates are as follows: Day Classes: Full term (8 weeks) five whole days per week _ $28.00 Full term (8 weeks) five half days per week ___ 1 6.00 One month (4 weeks) five whole days per week 16.00 One month (4 weeks) five half days per week _ „ 14.00 Evening Classes Three Nights Per Week: Two months 15.50 One month ..._ _ 9.25 A deposit of $1.00 will be required to cover locker key. This will be refunded on return of key at end of Summer Term. All tuition rates include Registration Fee and Locker Rent. Former students registering for the Summer Session will be entitled to a reduction of the above rates to the amount of their Registration Fee. All tuition in advance. No refunds. The student organization of the school maintains an art materials store on the premises at which all needed supplies can be obtained at downtown rates. i DRAWING AND PAINTING Instructor, E. Roscoe Shrader, Dean of the Faculty Pupil of Art Institute, Chicago; Howard Pyle; member California Art Club; Wilmington Society of Fine Arts, Wilmington, Del. Instructor, Edouard Vysekal Pupil of Art Institutes of St. Paul and Chicago; member of California Water Color Society; Palette and Chisel Club, Chicago; and California Art Club. Antique and Still Life Class. This class gives the beginner his elementary instruction in drawing,—outline, proportion and light and shade— from the Antique Cast and Still Life groups. Those sufficiently advanced in drawing will be given an opportunity to paint from Still Life groups. Criticism Tuesday and Friday. Life and Costume Classes These classes allow former regular students to continue their studies through the summer. They also give opportunity to public school art teachers and other advanced artists to coach in drawing and painting from the life model. Advanced students in Illustration and Commercial Design will study in these classes. The spacious grounds and shrubbery surrounding the school give pleasing and advantageous backgrounds for the costume model posed out of doors. The school reserves the right to combine the Life and Costume Classes, alternating one week "Life" and one week "Costume" model. Criticism Tuesday and Friday.
