Angeles-based
artist
. The
highly
decorative
,
paintings
were
articulated
by "
clip-ons
" of
fruit
and
floral
shapes
cut
and
molded
from
opaque
plastic
sheets
. Also
shown
were
two
"
table
sculptures
"
whose
surfaces
were
strewn
with
small
,
cast
and
painted
sculptures
of
fruits
and
domestic
objects
.
Because
of their
craft-art
references
, the
paintings
and
sculptures
suggested
the
two-way
influence
of
high
and
low
art
,
while
complicating
the
traditional
still-life
genre
.
