Description	A reading and conversation with poet Richard Howard and artist Tom Knechtel in conjunction with the exhibition On Wanting to Grow Horns: the Little Theater of Tom Knechtel. Richard Howard will be reading selected poems, including Changes: Dragon-Flies to Flying Dragon, a poem written especially for the catalogue that accompanies the exhibition.
Notes	The author of twelve volumes of poetry, Richard Howard is also a distinguished critic (Alone with America: Essays on the Art of Poetry in America since 1950), poetry editor (for The Paris Review and the Western Humanities Review), and translator (of works by Baudelaire, de Beauvoir, and Stendahl, among others). His work has been honored with the American Book Award for Translation, the PEN Translation Medal, the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, the Ordre National du Merite from the French government, and fellowships from the Academy of American Poets, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the MacArthur Foundation. His most recent book of poems is Talking Cure (2002).
