exhibition

of
it’s
title
,
is
dedicated
to
Tom
Knechtel
and
is
included
in the
exhibition
catalogue
.
Benjamin
Weissman’s
prose
piece
“Penises
and
Geniuses”
is
also
included
in the
catalogue
.
Both
writers
will be
reading
selections
from their
work
.
Notes
A
writer
of
poetry
,
fiction
and
journalism
,
Amy
Gerstler
lives
in
Los
Angeles
and
teaches
at
Art
Center
College
of
Design
and at the
Writing
Seminars
program
at
Bennington
College
in
Vermont
. She
is
the
author
of
seven
books
of
poetry
, the
latest
of
which
is
Medicine
(2000)
. A
writer
and
artist
also
living
in
Los
Angeles
,
Benjamin
Weissman
teaches
writing
and
is
a
Graduate
Advisor
in the
Department
of
Fine
Art
at
Cal
Arts
and
Art
Center
College
of
Design
. He
is
the
author
of a
book
of
short
fiction
titled
Dear
Dead
Person
(1994)
and has
exhibited
paintings
and
drawings
at
Galerie
Krinzinger
in
Vienna
and at
Christopher
Grimes
Gallery
in
Santa
Monica
.
Both
Amy
Gerstler
and
Benjamin
Weissman
have
taught
writing
courses
at
Otis
in the
past
.
