Description	"Biography is an exploration of the chemical elements in the human body and the roles they play elsewhere in the world. Each spread is a diagram describing the elements as they exist on the periodic table, the earth's crust, a variety of man-made weapons, medicines and tools, sea water, etc. Each element is identified as a specific colored rectangle and these rectangles continue through the diagrams. These diagrams [are] sometimes difficult to decode, and toward the end are interrupted by blind stamped organic shapes and pressure printing. Letterpress printed from polymer plates on Zerkall Book. Bound as a hard cover drumleaf. Enclosed in a clamshell box."--Artist's website . "This book was printed in Aurora, NY in the spring of 2010 from polymer plates and linoleum on Zerkall Book Vellum. Data concerning the chemical composition of the human body, the earth's crust, seawater, and a number of weapons, medicines, building materials and tools was pulled from a variety of online sources and generously proofed by Christopher Bailey in the Wells College Chemistry department..."--Colophon .
